This independent impact evaluation reviewed the work of the Inclusion Advisory Group’s (IAG) Australia team from 2016 to 2021.

The evaluation sought to understand if, and how, IAG’s work has contributed to change for people with disabilities and if their work represents good value for money. Direct feedback was gathered from IAG’s clients and partners, including INGOs, donors, UN agencies and Organisations of People with Disabilities. The evaluation found that IAG has contributed to positive lasting institutional and organisational change, as well as change in development and humanitarian practice. There is also some evidence that this has had the intended flow-on effect for people with disabilities in target communities.

Clients and partners value IAG’s technical advice on disability inclusion, and reported increased awareness and confidence to put this advice into practice. IAG’s approach to advisory is impactful and tailored, and ultimately represents value for money.
