Sustainable Family Healthcare Foundation (SFHF) in Nigeria was established to promote and support the rights and access of vulnerable people, households, and communities to affordable and sustainable quality of life while also improving the resilience, well-being, and institutional capacity of the communities where we work. We currently work in the health, humanitarian, and development sectors.
In 2019, CBM Global partnered with SFHF to implement the Women’s Health project in Nigeria. As we reflect on the past years, our partnership has made significant progress in achieving our shared goals. Through the generous funding from CBM Global, we have been able to scale up the Women’s Health project into the “Comprehensive and Inclusive Women’s Health in Nigeria (CIWHiN)” project, which advances the cause of disability inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities in the communities where we work.
The CIWHiN project has increased women’s and girls’ access to quality sexual and reproductive health services, facilitated economic empowerment, and improved the overall quality of life for project participants, including people with disabilities. These achievements would not have been possible without CBM Global’s partnership and commitment to our cause.
As we look to the future, we are excited to continue our work together and explore new opportunities for collaboration. We believe that our partnership has the potential to make an even greater impact, and we are committed to working together to achieve our shared vision.
