CBM supported the Batangas Project, a Community-Based Rehabilitation project in the Philippines, from 2002 to 2012. More than a decade after the project’s conclusion, CBM Philippines Country Team revisited five of the 17 municipalities where the project was implemented to assess the sustainability of its outcomes. The findings reveal a lasting impact, with continued government commitment to disability inclusion, empowered parent-led advocacy through AKAPIN, and enduring benefits for individuals who were part of the project.
